What an amazing time lies behind us. What an amazing cast and crew we had. I guess we are all happy to move out of the theater and into what’s left of this summer. Great work everybody and have a save flight home, guys. See you at the Oscars !!

Here are some impressions of the shooting. It is incredible hard work but it also very rewarding. Thanx everybody!!
Two days before the start of principal photography UnitedRain held a press-conference with the cast today. See what our great cast had to say about the casting-process, the rehearsals, their parts in Nightshift and the surprisingly hot German climate.
After months and months of auditioning, casting, discussions and contract-negotiations we are really proud to present our cast of Nightshift.
We received more than 600 submissions for our casting-notice in September. We invited more than 60 actors back to our auditions and at the end we got exactly the cast we wanted right from the start.
We wish to thank all those involved: our legal council Hans Homann, the agents who managed to make this happen despite our limited budget, the fantastic team at the Chelsea studios, the numerous helping hands and shoulders to cry onto, all the patient family members, sponsoring small businesses and especially our fantastic cast who put their trust in us. We can’t wait to start.
But we don’t want to forget all those talented actors that sent us their submissions and followed our invitation to audition for us but didn’t make it. It was an honor to get to know you. Keep it up!!!!
You can find further information of our cast members here.
Our primary goal is to get to know you and your talent as much as possible. Please prepare the two short monologues that we made available to you. If you haven’t received them yet, please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org . We’d like to encourage you to freely interpret and possibly even modify the text. Make it really your own!!! Also if you have a great (preferable comedic) scene/monologue, a song or anything else that is dear to you and you’d like to share with us, we’d love to see/hear that as well.
We are really excited to announce that Karen D. Savage joined our team as choreographer. If you want to find out more about her work please visit her homepage.
He died at the age of 83 in Hamburg after a long desease. He is the fatherfigur, the hero of german postwar theater. What a loss!!
