About Nighshift
Nightshift is the working title of UnitedRain’s upcoming first featurelength film.

THE STORY
Jane Fisher is a playwrite who has one night left to finally come up with a complete script.
It is already past midnight when she has this idea of a cast of actors that feel abandoned by their director. As they are driven by fear of unemployment and excitement for the potential of their talent they create their own show.
As the night progresses and Jane leads her characters through all kinds of conflicts she realises that she has to face some tough decissions herself.
Nightshift is a musical-comedy about finding the courage to overcome your fears and doubts, trust your talents and finally follow your dreams.
Nightshift will be a featurelength movie of about 90 minutes. It is shoot digitally on a RED One in 4k.

Obviously dance, music and choreography plays an essential role when producing a musical-movie and we have been incredible fortunate to have renowned choreographer Karen D. Savage come on board. Over the period of 8 months she and composer/director Götz Neumann worked very closely to create what we feel is an exceptional choreography. It was exciting to see it all come alive and our great cast after weeks of rehearsals performed it and inspired our crew to create some truly awesome shots. See what Karen had to say about the process in a short interview we took with her during a shooting break.
